How scoring works

Daily ranking and reset

The leaderboard includes public Daily scores only. Equal scores share a rank; there is no speed tie-break. One ranked attempt per account each day; an existing attempt cannot be replaced.

Guests can save with Google and a public name before ranking closes. Practice is unranked and repeatable.

Daily resets at 00:00 UTC. In new Daily editions, unopened questions close for zero. A running question keeps its original deadline and day. Scores become final after the last eligible answers are processed.

New Daily editions award 20–100 per valid answer, up to 700 total. Pass or time out: 0 points. Scores start from reviewed estimates, then change with answer popularity. The same answer has the same current score for everyone.

Practice and older editions keep their original fixed scores and untimed pauses.
